On June 11 2019, Sony announced two Super Telephoto lenses; the FE 200-600mm and the 600mm f/4. The Sony Alpha range of cameras and now E / FE mount lenses have you covered for all your photographic needs.
In case you still had your doubts about the Sony Mirrorless system and lack of lens range, well now they just about have the full gamut with their new telephoto lenses ; so if you're into Sports, Wildlife, Bird Photography or love to get detailed shots of the craters on the moon - you'll definitely appreciate the quality you can get once paired with an A9 or A7R III.
We know these lenses will be popular in particular the 200-600 as we've had enquirers since the day it was announced!
The Australian RRP Pricing for the Sony 200-600mm lens is set at $3249 which is what we're currently listing it for however we will monitor the market and if other Authorized resellers advertise at a lower price, then rest assure that Camera Warehouse will guarantee the lower price for you. We're still waiting for a firm release date however we've been advised that the first shipment should land in Australia early to mid August 2019.

The reccomended retail price for the FE 600mm f/4 lens is $21,999 and this lens will be a special order product. To place an order for this lens you would need to pay a 20% deposit and the lead time would be around 4-6 weeks to get in. Although it's not extepected to start shipping until late August at this stage.
