Why are we supporting Ovarian Cancer Australia?

Michelle's Legacy: A Beacon of Hope in Our Fight Against Ovarian Cancer

At Camera Warehouse, we've faced the harsh reality of ovarian cancer through the journey of Michelle, a vital part of our family and Ben's beloved partner. Michelle's six-year battle with this relentless disease was marked by incredible bravery and hope, inspiring us all.

Despite her passing on 13 November 2023, Michelle's spirit fuels our commitment to fight ovarian cancer. In honor of her legacy, Ben is undertaking a significant challenge in May 2024: a walk from Sydney to Byron Bay. This journey is not only a tribute to Michelle but also a powerful drive to raise awareness and funds for ovarian cancer research and support.

Camera Warehouse, is supporting Ovarian Cancer Australia, and we invite our community to rally behind Ben's walk. This effort is more than a memorial; it's a proactive stride towards early detection, effective treatment, and, ultimately, a cure for ovarian cancer. Michelle's story reminds us of the urgent need for action and the difference we can make when we come together.

Support Ben's walk from Sydney to Byron Bay. Join us in honoring Michelle's memory and contributing to a future where the shadows of ovarian cancer are dispelled by the light of hope and healing. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

Why Ovarian Cancer Matters

 •    1,815 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year in Australia.

 •    Unfortunately, most cases are diagnosed at an advanced stage, making treatment challenging.

 •    Ovarian cancer has the poorest survival rate among female cancers in the country.

Our Goal

Our aim is to raise much needed awareness and funds to help support critical life saving research.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 which will go to Ovarian Cancer Australia.
