Nikon have announced a new digital SLR - the Nikon D60.

Based on the D40 form-factor, and therefore very small, the D60 uses a 10.2 megapixel sensor and Nikon's EXPEED processing engine. The D60 has an new, integrated dust-reduction system and in-camera retouch functions to edit images on the go.

• 0.19 second start-up
• 3 frames per second (fps) continuous
