The Unitree A2 Quadruped Robot is an industrial-grade, high-performance robotic platform engineered for advanced mobility, heavy-duty tasks, and cutting-edge research applications. Designed to be lighter, faster, and tougher, the A2 combines powerful hardware, intelligent perception, and exceptional load-bearing capability in a rugged, agile form.
At its core, the A2 features a dual-computing architecture, pairing an 8-core high-performance CPU for platform control with an Intel Core i7 processor dedicated to user development. This setup provides ample computing power for autonomy, AI algorithms, perception, and custom robotic applications.
Built for demanding environments, the A2 delivers approx. 180 N·m peak joint torque, enabling it to handle a 30 cm maximum step height and climb slopes of up to 45° with confidence. It supports a 25 kg continuous walking load and an impressive 100 kg standing load, making it suitable for industrial transport, inspection, and research scenarios. With a maximum running speed of up to 5 m/s, the A2 demonstrates exceptional agility and responsiveness.
Constructed from aluminum alloy and high-strength engineering plastics, the robot balances durability with reduced weight for enhanced endurance. Its dual-sided perception system improves environmental awareness and operational safety, while dual hot-swappable batteries ensure extended runtime and uninterrupted operation during long missions.
