The ThinkTank Airport Commuter Backpack may seemingly look like an ordinary piece of luggage on the outside, but the interiors of the bag are rated to hold your pro size DSLR camera, 4-6 standard zooms, your iPad and 15" laptop. There's an extra space in the bag that allows you to take along your 400mm f/2.8 attached to the camera body or 500mm f/4 unattached. Your gear is safely nestled between the supplied padded dividers in any configuration that you deem suitable. There's also a separate zippered lockable compartment where you could tuck your laptop safely.

To personalise your usage of the Airport Commuter, the bag itself offers you a variety of carrying options. Your options include being able to adjust the harness system and removable waist belt to the very convenient handles situated on three sides. The harness is enhanced with lumbar support and air mesh paneling to help keep you cool while the pack is on your back. A sternum strap is also provided to help maintain your balance while walking. Since the waist belt is removable, it can accept Think Tank's optional Pro Speed Belt or Think Skin Belt ensuring that portability can be more comfortable for you as you increase your load capacity. An additional feature to minimise worries while shooting on location or travelling outdoors is that it comes supplied with a rain cover.

If you're ever bringing a tripod on your trip, the Think Tank Airport Commuter Backpack as an exterior pocket and head tied with a supplied strap. If you're bringing smaller accessories, the inside flap has laminated mesh pockets for storing memory cards and even a snack!

The Airport Commuter Backpack's exterior is made from a combination of ballistic nylon, polyester and nylon webbing that are all treated for water-resistance. The inside is made of nylon and polyurethane with padded, closed cell foam dividers. For a small pack that holds this much gear, it's relatively lightweight at a maximum of 2kgs.
