Featuring 16 lens elements in 10 groups, it includes four High Refractive Index elements and two Extra-Low Dispersion Glasses. The lens also has three Aspherical Lenses that retain image quality and brightness while miniziming aberrations and distortions. Meanwhile, ghosting, flaring, and colour aberrations are reduced through the neutrino coating. Regardless of the amount of light available, this DSLR lens will perform well due to its f/4 - f/22 aperture range. Getting a clear view of the subject is made easy through the ergonomic focus ring while zooming closer is possible thanks to the 0.275m minimum focusing distance.
