Tamron SP AF 45mm F1.8 DI VC USD Lens (Nikon)

The Tamron SP series lenses feature high pixel density drive for advanced camera systems. The SP AF 45mm F1.8 DI VC USD presents uniqueness in perspectives provided by the built-in VC and gives MOD (Minimum Object Distance) of 0.29m. In turn, it offers to create crisp and sharp images thru the  F/1.8 full open aperture. Its Ultrasonic Silent Drive (USD) enables fast, precise and quiet autofocus on both stills and video recording. Two molded glass aspherical elements ensure superb focusing by compensating for spherical and chromatic aberrations. LD (Low Dispersion) Glass further compensates chromatic aberrations to attain clear and crisp images without fringing. The eBAND and BBAR Coating however, provides anti-reflection elements resulting to prevention of ghosting and flares. This lens is available in Canon and Nikon mounts and comescompatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.

High Performance at F/1.8 Full Aperture
The open aperture is set to F/1.8 with optimized critical properties at a higher level: superb optical performance coupled with a VC system, a shorter MOD, and a well-balanced form factor. VC (Vibration Compensation) Integration, Setting Itself Apart
VC deployed on fast-aperture lenses dramatically enhances freedom of hand-held shooting under lime light or dim room light conditions by eliminating minute camera shake. In particular, cameras with high-pixel density imagers tend to pick up subtle vibrations, resulting in degradation of image quality. To further compensate for chromatic aberrations, the new SP Series lenses use an LD element. This element helps deliver crisp, clear images without color fringing.

eBAND and BBAR Coating
eBAND (Extended Bandwidth and Angular-Dependency) Coating and BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) Coating both provide superior anti-reflection properties. These technologies have been adapted to each lens and provide crystal clear images by suppressing element surface reflections that lead to ghosting and flare.
eBAND Coating is a nano-structured layer deployed on the critical element surface. In addition to regular anti-reflection coatings, eBAND Coating offers higher transmissivity and a significant improvement in anti-reflection characteristics against angulated incident rays.

Circular Aperture
Even when stopped down two steps, the nine-blade diaphragm maintains its circular shape to deliver nicely-tuned background blur.

Optimal Relative Illumination
The 45mm lens delivers exceptionally uniform illumination levels across the image field to avoid non-linear pattern or fall-off toward corners.
