The Tamrac Expedition 9x Camera Photo Backpack is the largest offering in Tamrac’s award-winning Expedition Series.  It was specifically designed to accommodate a DSLR Camera body with a long telephoto lens attached (such as 400mm, 500mm or 600mm) or an intermediate zoom lens (200mm or 300mm) attached, additional lenses, camera bodies, flashes and accessories. The pack is made of padded 900D PolyTek Exterior with closed-cell foam padding and multi-section divider system. Its easy access dual "wing" pockets with water resistant zipper fits personal items and with the Memory & Battery Management System, you will be able to identify your available memory cards and batteries from the used up ones. Also featured in Expedition 9x is the carry handle, interior mesh pockets, and multi-section divider system. The exterior however, offers M.A.S. and S.A.S. Compatible attachment slots to accommodate additional accessories.

Backpack Harness SystemThe Expedition 9x is the largest offering in Tamrac’s award-winning Expedition Series.  It was specifically designed to accommodate a DSLR with a long telephoto lens attached (such as 400mm, 500mm or 600mm) or an intermediate zoom lens (200mm or 300mm) attached, additional lenses, camera bodies, flashes and accessories.

Multi Section Divider System
This large backpack features a multi-section divider system to accommodate long telephoto lenses of different lengths and diameters.  The top section supports the camera and cinches tightly to the narrow portion of the lens where it attaches to the camera.  The bottom section includes two foam-padded, plastic-reinforced vertical dividers and one horizontal divider that can be adjusted vertically to fit varying length lenses and lens shade diameters

"Wing" Accessory Pockets
Dual “wing” pockets with water-resistant zippers organize and provide quick access to important accessories without disturbing your other gear. These “wing” pockets also feature Tamrac’s patented Memory & Battery Management System™ that uses red flags to identify available memory cards and batteries from ones that are used up.

Carry-on Compression System
The Carry-on Compression System allows the pack to be made carry-on compatible for U.S. domestic flights.  This requires the removal of the camera body from the long telephoto lens.

QuickClip™ Tripod Attachment System
A tripod is cradled (centered and balanced) securely between these pockets with Tamrac’s QuickClip™ tripod attachment system while the lower plastic-reinforced Tripod Foot Pocket holds two tripod legs secure.

State-of-the-art Harness
The state-of-the-art harness system features Dual-Density Comfort Pads that provide maximum carrying comfort while Air Flow Channels help keep you cool and dry during extended use. The pack is also equipped with a foam-padded waist belt for added comfort. Cinch straps on the shoulder harness and an expandable sternum strap allow finer adjustments for maximum comfort. The harness also features “D” rings that accept Tamrac’s optional backpack camera strap (Model N-11).
