Sony RM-30BP is a compact multi-function remote (LANC) controller that provides camera control, playback and multicamera control, and programmable buttons. It works with the HXR-NX5R and PXW-FS7 v4.0, and can be used in conjunction with the MCX-500.
The RM-30BP provides focus, iris, and zoom control for the selected Sony camcorder. The 6 assignable buttons can be programmed to provide additional camera functions such as start/stop recording or record arming. The unit also has a built-in zoom rocker and adjustment knob for precise control of lens settings.
The RM-30BP has 2 LANC ports so that you can daisy chain two remotes together for greater control over multiple cameras at once, or daisy chain an MCX-500 remote commander so you have one small remote controller for all your cameras.

RM-30BP Remote Controller
The RM-30BP is the successor to the RM-1000BP, the industry’s first comprehensive, multifunctional remote commander.
Ideal for freelancers and small-budget productions, the lightweight remote can be handheld, placed on a table or attached to a tripod arm for operation. The RM-30BP can control most camera functions including:
• Lens control: one push auto / manual focus, iris and zoom control
• Camera control: recording / display functions, shutter speed, white balance - including six assignable buttons
• Playback and multi camera control (up to 3 cameras)
The RM-30BP is compatible with a wide-range of Sony camcorders, including PXW-FX9 and ILME-FX6.
