Sony LA-EA4 A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter

The Sony LA-EA4 A-Mount to E-Mount Lens Adapter lets you use any A-mount lens with E-mount digital camera bodies. It has a dedicated AF motor and mechanism for aperture control. It is also equipped with Translucent Mirror Technology for continuous TTL phase-detection AF. It also directs light to the imaging and focus sensors to allow autofocus to work whether in continuous shooting or video recording. This Sony lens accessory also has 15 AF sensors which include 3 cross-types that can be used in any of the four focus modes. For comfortable shooting, heavier lenses can be supported by using the tripod mount.

Translucent Mirror Technology
Shoot stills or movies in sharp detail with a built-in 15 TTL AF system and three cross sensors. A semitransparent mirror channels the light from the lens to a AF sensor to provide liveview and fast phase detection AF for smooth and focused shooting. This also provides a 1/3 exposure stop that you can balance with a higher ISO or longer shutter speed.

Aperture Control
The LA-EA4 has a motor that controls the aperture of A-Mount lenses, making it compatible without restrictions. Once the shutter is pressed, the lenses will be adjusted to the selected aperture 

Autofocus
This lens adapter has 15 AF sensors which includes 3 cross-type sensors. For full-frame cameras, this covers 10% of the frame. But for APS-C cameras, the coverage goes up to 20%. You can choose among the three Focus Area options: Wide for choosing all sensors, Center to use only the AF sensor in the middle, and Flexible Spot to choose just one sensor. Meanwhile, there are four options for Focus Mode: AF-S, AF-C, DMF, and MF.
