The Sony HVL-F46RM Quick Shift GN46 Bounce Flash MI Shoe is a shoe that contains a GN46 bounce flash that can be controlled by Sony's P-TTL flash control system. The shoe is able to support up to three types of flashes and can be used with up to two Sony flash units. Plus, the shoe also has a maximum recycle time of 1.7 seconds.

The Sony HVL-F46RM Quick Shift GN46 Bounce Flash MI Shoe is compatible with Sony's ADI / P-TTL on-camera flash and transceiver for per-frame P-TTL flash control and Guide Number of 46 m at ISO 100. The shoe can also be used with a manual-release bounce flash.

This is a powerful flash unit with a range of control options. It can be set to fire up to 15 flashes and/or receivers in 5 groups. It is also capable of firing up to 60 consecutive flashes at 10fps. Control is also available with a flash control link that is based on face detection.
