Outstanding resolution in ultra-wide views
Two AA (Advanced Aspherical) lens minimize field curvature and astigmatism for stunning image-wide resolution at all apertures. One Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass element and three ED elements suppress chromatic aberration, while an optimized coating minimizes flare and ghosting. This is an ideal lens for creating spectacular wide-angle images.

Large-aperture, ultra-wide, and compact
Aspherical lens elements, including Sony's high-precision AA (Advanced Aspherical) lens, result in a full-frame ultra-wide lens that is 3 x 3 in (73.8 x 75 mm) and weighs just 10.8 oz. (304 g). Comprehensive control
In addition to the normal focus hold function, other functions can be assigned to the focus hold button via the camera controls as needed.
