The battery pack has 72WH power and 16.4V maximum output. A 4-LED gauge displays the battery's remaining capacity as 20, 40, 60, and 80%.

LCD monitor and viewfinder
Battery status data is continuously communicated to the camera. Remaining capacity is displayed on the camera’s LCD monitor and viewfinder, allowing operators to monitor battery status easily and accurately while shooting.

Higher capacity and faster charging
The BP-U70 offers significantly higher capacity while having the same charging time than the previous generation BP-U60.
