Its 55-200mm focal length is the 82.5-300mm (35mm Equivalent) telephoto lens. It is constructed of Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) Glass and 13 elements in 9 groups which all help deliver sharp, clear photos throughout the zoom range. Seven circular aperture blades produce smooth, out of focus background effects while the Smooth Autofocus Motor (SAM) moves the focusing lens elements directly to ensure quick and smooth AF. It has 3.2' minimum focusing distance and a front-end filter diameter of 55mm.
