The Sony A-Mount 50mm f/1.4 Carl Zeiss Planar T* ZA is a normal-length prime camera lens that is made for use with Sony Alpha Mount for Full-Frame Sensors and compatible with both full-frame and APS-C-sized image sensors. The lens features f/1.4-22 Aperture Range and 50mm Focal Length.  It integrates two glass-molded aspherical elements to provide high image quality while reducing aberrations and distortions. An ED Glass and Carl Zeiss T* Lens Coating is used to further minimize chromatic aberration and produces even sharpness across the image plane. The Carl Zeiss Optics and Planar Design work to produce a rich image quality and help to improve overall image sharpness.
