Sky-Watcher HEQ5 Pro Mount

The HEQ5 Pro Mount is the smaller vcersion of the EQ6 Prs but it has a more convenient system in a compact and lightweight package. It boasts with loads of features such as positioning accuracy up to 1 arc minute and slewing speed up to 3.4°/sec (800X).  The Stepper motors with 1.8° step angle and 32 micro steps driven is capable to point the telescope at a specific object or even tour the skies with just a touch of a button or by the guiding speed selectable from 0.25X, 0.50X, 0.75X, or 1X. HEQ5 Pro Mount has an object database containing complete Messier, NGC, and IC catalogues where you can study your favourite nebular entity in just a snap. This telescope is PC compatible and has an upgradeable hand control via internet download. The compact body of this telescope is capable of supporting a heavy payload capacity of 13.7kg.

The SynScan Hand Control also has the ability to connect to a computer via a RS-232 cable. Once the connection has been established between the computer and SynScan Hand Control, many commercially available planetarium software programs can be used to control the HEQ5 PRO Mounts, They also come with features that advanced astronomers can appreciate.
