This product comes with an ED element already installed to help prevent chromatic aberration (CA). This feature makes it easier for you to get sharper images that are more true to life.

The Sky-Watcher Evolux Field Flattener for 82ED is a unique, patented field flattener that can be used in place of your standard lens. It's compatible with the Sky-Watcher Evolux 82ED telescope, and is designed to help you capture images with greater sharpness and clarity.
The Sky-Watcher Evolux Field Flattener features a 55mm back focus, allowing you to use it on telescopes with either M56x1 female or M48 male threads. The field flattener also comes with a built-in rotator/adapter with a cavity for 2-inch filters, which allows you to filter out light pollution and control how much light enters the scope at any given time.
