The EQ5 Pro mounts utilize the same Go-To system found in the HEQ5 and EQ6 Pros but it has a more convenient computerized system in a compact and lightweight package. It boasts with loads of features such as positioning accuracy up to 1 arc minute and slewing speed up to 3.4°/sec (800X). The Stepper motors with 1.8° step angle and 32 micro steps driven is capable to point the telescope at a specific object or even tour the skies with just a touch of a button or by the guiding speed selectable from 0.25X, 0.50X, 0.75X, or 1X. EQ5 has an object database containing complete Messier, NGC, and IC catalogues where you can study your favourite nebular entity in just a snap. This telescope is PC compatible and has an upgradeable hand control via internet download. The compact body of this telescope is capable of supporting a payload capacity of 5.6kg.
