The 66/400 Equinox ED Doublet Refractor Telescope is a perfect choice for nature study, birding, and/or astrophotography. It promotes 66mm Diameter aperture with 400mm Focal Length. The Fast speed optics and flat fields of view make it an ideal instrument for studying larger clusters and star fields as well. This telescope is provided with an SC-thread and capable of 360° adjustable rotation for easy framing of objects for photography. It also features a standard Dual-Speed machined Crayford focuser and 1:10 reduction ratio.
Lunar and Planetary viewing
Refractor telescopes are excellent for Lunar and Planetary viewing as they offer very crisp and sharp images.
Excellent vistas
It can provide excellent vistas of star fields, clusters, nebulae, galaxies, planets, the Moon and (with correct filtering or by projection) the Sun. It is also a fine terrestrial telescope when mounted on an alt-azimuth mount or a photographic tripod. Crisp images at a reasonable price make it an excellent beginner's "first telescope", or a great travelling telescope for a more advanced observer.
