Sigma AF 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN ART Lens for L-Mount

Photographers who are always on the go have another great product to look forward to. SIGMA is delighted to announce the launch of its SIGMA AF 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN (A) F/L-Mount. This is included in the Art line prime lens lineup for full-frame cameras in L-Mount. The lenses in this series have garnered high-speed AF and are fully compatible with AF-C mode, in-camera aberration correction, and in-camera image stabilization. This lineup will consist of 11 prime lenses for full-frame cameras from SIGMA's Art line covering from 14mm to 135mm.

The lens can be distinguished by its fast f/2.8 constant maximum aperture to adjust in any available lighting conditions. It has a sophisticated optical design and a series of aspherical and low dispersion elements that are used to minimize chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout its zoom range. As a result, clarity, high sharpness, and colour accuracy are achieved. The lens also has a Super Multi-Layer Coating combined with Nano Porous Coating that helps reduce flare and ghosting much greater compared to conventional anti-reflective coatings. Optimized AF for L-Mount

Shooting at speed with high-precision AF control is done with the AF drive control program as well as the high-speed communication that are tuned for each lens. 

In-Camera Image Stabilization Compatibility

Because it is compatible with in-camera image stabilization, the camera can automatically detect the focal length of the lens and optimize its image stabilization performance. 

Data Pre-Loaded for Compatibility

It is one hundred percent compatible with in-camera aberration correction which includes corrections for distortion, chromatic aberrations, and peripheral illumination. Through correction matching to the optical characteristics of the lens, the image quality is taken to a much higher level. 

Rigid and Stable Mount

The lens mount is now native and this gives a much more rigid and stable feel to the lens compared to using an adapter. Surface treatment is used to enhance strength, and the brass bayonet mount provides exceptional durability and high-precision fit. It is also engineered to be dust- and splash-proof by incorporating rubbing sealing in the mount connection.
