With a minimum aperture of F32, the Sigma APO 800mm F5.6 EX DG HSM offers to give the right amount of light passing through your digital SLR. The ELD (extraordinary low dispersion) glass elements helps to produce precise image quality that gives sharp and vivid quality images. Its new multi-layer lens coating is designed to minimize ghosting and flare and as well wilth the lens' 12 elements in 9 groups that reduces chromatic aberrations to minimum. Running in an HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor), it makes a quiet yet high-speed autofocus and full time manual focus override as well. The 46mm (drop-in type) filter size at the rear part of the barrel can be rotated to make use of filters such as the polarizing filter. It is compatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.

Incorporating two Extraordinary Low Dispersion glass elements to reduce chromatic aberration to a minimum and ensure sharp, quality images.

HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor for Sigma, Canon and Nikon mount lenses)
The HSM models (Sigma, Nikon and Canon mounts) provide high-speed, ultra-quiet AF function as well as full- time manual focus override.

It features a drop-in filter
This new lens also supplied with a 46mm gelatin filter holder at the rear, allowing the use of gelatin filters.
