Besides covering focal lengths from 24mm, this large F2.8 aperture standard zoom lens is housed in a compact structure. The construction has been made for the newest optical design which provides ideal images for general photography. It incorporates two SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass elements, ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass, and three aspherical lenses providing brilliant correction of all sorts of aberrations. This lens integrates HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) that ensures a quiet and high speed autofocus as well as full time manual focus override. The rounded 9 blades diaphragm creates an attractive blur and the super multi-layer coating as well lessens flare and ghosting and delivers high contrast images through the focal length. This lens has a maximum magnification ratio of 1:5.3 and a minimum focusing distance of 38cm/15in. It is compatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.
