Designed for mirrorless cameras and interchangeable lens cameras, the Sigma 19mm F/2.8 DN Lens for Sony NEX E Mount provides a fast and large range of F2.8 maximum and F22 minimum aperture. It integrates a Linear Autofocus Motor that only focuses to drive directly without compromising the other mechanical parts. The HSM drive autofocus runs with a quiet yet fast autofocusing. Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating helps reduce flare and ghosting to produce sharp and high contrast images even in low lit conditions while the telecentric optical design develops the better image quality. Its inner focusing system corrects the fluctuating aberration to preserve image quality in spite of the focusing position. The SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass helps minimize transverse and axial chromatic aberration. This lens has 46mm diameter filter.

The lens features a rounded 7 blade diaphragm creating an attractive blur to the out of focus areas of the image. This Sigma 19mm F2.8 EX DN has a minimum focusing distance of 20cm/7.9in and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:7.4.
