Product Features in Detail

Compatibility
Designed to fit the Shimoda Action X25 Backpack and to maximize equipment storage from top to bottom in the pack. Allows the X25 to fit lenses as long as 16.9 inches (43 cm), such as the Sony 200-600mm, Nikon 180-600mm, Canon 200-800mm, Fuji 150-600mm, and OM 150-600mm. Fits these superzoom lernses even when attached to a camera body. NOTE: RST Core Units are not compatible with Shimoda Explore series backpacks.

RST - Rear/Side/Top Access
Integrates seamlessly with the side access of Shimoda's Action X25 backpack. Also allows top camera/lens access through the zipper at the base of the expandable roll top. And allows standard rear access to entire camera system.

Mirrorless/DSLR Camera Fit
The Mirrorless-depth Core Units are ideal for non-gripped mirrorless and DSLR cameras up to 12 cm (4.7 in) tall, and the shorter depth allows for a lower profile backpack that meets the strictest international carry-on regulations and will fit into the shallow overhead compartment of small regional aircraft.

Lightweight Water-Resistant & Multi-purpose Skin
The included Skin’s primary function is a storage case for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust free. Its secondary function is to use as a packing cell. A user can fill it with clothing or other common items and pack it in their backpack or carry-on roller.

EVA Protective Shell and Dividers
Walls and dividers are constructed with EVA which ensures much greater protection than cheaper PE foams used in most camera bags. With EVA we have greater control over the density and quality of materials used to protect your gear. It also means our walls can be thinner and use less internal volume while still providing superior protection.
