The Shimoda Action X70 Rain Cover is made from taffeta nylon with PU coating to let the water roll off easily. While named a rain cover, this protective item is also ideal for muddy terrain or wet beaches wherein the backpack may attract sand. The outer shell tightens around your pack with an elastic edge. But it also secures to each side by the belt. Additionally, the top can be fastened onto the pack's handle. This rain cover will fit over your tripod and they store in an inward folding pocket so they can be easy stored in your bag.
