Rycote Lyre
Made of advanced thermoplastic that will never snap, bend, or break even in extreme conditions, it firmly holds and suspends the microphone to enjoy smooth audio recording even for action shots. Likewise, the Rycote Lyre is intelligently designed so that any handling noise caused by vibration will not be transferred to the microphone or into the audio signal. What's best is that you not only get one but two of these with the SM3-R.

Mounting versatility
The Rode SM3-R has three mounting points at the base so that you can adjust the positon of the shoe to suit the camera in use. Also, it has a universal mount as well as a 3/8" thread for boom poles. On top, the dual Rycote Lyre mounts can be placed in any of the four mounting points to support the microphone in use. They can be spaced apart for longer mics or bring them together for shorter ones.

Ideal for the PG2R Pro Cable
Cable management system is designed for use with the PG2R Pro Cable is a short XLR cable with a strain relief junction box that clips into the cable management system to provide a connection between the recording device and the microphone. This provides further level of isolation from handling noise.
