As a replacement back plate, the RODE Pin-Back connects through 1.5-3.5mm (0.006-0.14") thick clothing and fabric to the microphone capsule head. It contains a connector cable for the PinMic™ microphone.
Replacement back plate
The RØDE Pin-Back-LONG is a replacement back plate with connector cable for the PinMic™ microphone. This back plate features longer pins and connects through approximately 1.5-3.5mm (0.006-0.14") thick clothing and fabric to the microphone capsule head.
