Exciting 360° Experience
With just one button, you can start creating 360-degree videos. The Theta S offers sharper image quality through a large 14 megapixel image sensor which enables high-quality spherical images and Full HD movie recording up to 25 minutes. Low-light situations won't be a problem with the addition of a bright f/2.0 twin lens, folded-optical system. Videos can be shot in Manual Mode while shutter speeds can be set for up to 60 seconds.
Improved User Interface
Built into the Theta S is an LED status notification which allows you to save time by easily switching between still image and movie mode. Its Wi-Fi speed has also been upgraded to 8Mbps to transfer speeds of up to four times faster than previous Theta models.
Dedicated Application
The Theta applications allows full command and control over various shooting modes. It also gives way to an easier sharing of spherical images and videos directly to social media. Editing of spherical images is also possible with another application.
Live view and live streaming
Live View function is added with still images to access 10fps previews on your smartphone. Likewise, live streaming is also possible when your device is connected to either a USB or HDMI cord.
