Ricoh GP-1 GPS Receiver is a camera accessory compatible with Ricoh G700SE & G800SE Cameras. It is used to record GPS Data and Compass Headings then embed the data to your image or movie files. Even if attached to the camera, it still provides class 4 water resistance, Shockproof to 3.9', and IP64 Rate on Camera. It works powered by camera's battery.
This GPS unit is for use exclusively with RICOH G700SE cameras
It can be used to record GPS data (longitude and latitude) and compass headings in photographs taken while it is connected to a G700SE.
The GP-1 is not equipped with a battery or on/off switch
When the camera is turned on, power is supplied to the GP-1, the status lamp (c) turns green, and GPS data acquisition begins automatically.
Status LEDs
The status lamp (c) glows green while GPS data are updated and blinks green when the update is complete.
Accuracy
GPS Accuracy: 2D RMS approx. 5m *During clear skies (fine weather with no obstructions, and an angle of elevation greater than 30 degrees) Digital compass direction accuracy: ±6 degrees *Measurement error calculated from Magnetic north.
