The Phottix Odin Wireless TTL Flash Trigger Transmitter and Receiver Set for Sony can relay a wireless 2.4 GHz frequency for an optimum range of 100 metres. It is also capable of high speed sync of up to 1/8000 seconds in either Manual, TTL, or Ratio flash triggering modes. This product also permits four wireless channels in three flash group destinations and EV adjustments of ±3 in 1/3 increments. This device is compatible with Phottix Strato wireless triggers and the Mittros+ TTL Transceiver Flash. Equipped with built-in USB ports for firmware updates and remote flash head zoom adjustments, this transmitter is assigned with product code PH89047.
Product Features in Detail
2.4 GHz signals
The signal it emits is enough to navigate through line-of-sight restrictions to ensure that there will be no delays in the response. This is important especially when you are engaged in freeze action photography.
Three flash trigger modes
In manual mode, you have full control of the flash settings based on the aperture, ISO, flash output, and distance from the light source. In TTL mode, the flash is automatically adjusted based on the amount of light that passes through the lens. Finally, the ratio mode adjusts the flash intensity based on an ambient light source.
Customizing the EV is easy
With a range of ±3 EV with stop increments of 1/3, this transmitter will still work well in low-light settings. It also permits the adjustment of flash exposure during moments of bright natural light.
Take power over the flash
You can program up to three flash groups using its four channels to determine which flash will fire. In turn, these groups can give varying effects to render stunning images.
Zoom the flash head dynamically
While photographers adjust their lenses, the flash head's zoom can be instantly adjusted through this transmitter. Manual adjustment is also possible within a range of 24-105 millimetres.
No problemo with the Strato
This transmitter is compatible with the Strato 4-in-1, the Strato II Multi 5-in-1, and the Atlas II triggers. However, the Strato and Atlas II transmitters will not trigger Odin receivers.
Modeling flash support
Modeling flashes are often used with strobes or single-light units in order to give a preview of how the highlights and shadows will come out once the flash is fired.
