Pentax UP 8x25 WP Binoculars

This U-series Pentax binoculars feature a unique inverted porro prism design with dual-axis, single body design with synchronized eye-piece IPD adjustment for better light transmission. Its aspherical lens elements provide edge-to-edge sharpness and reduce aberrations. The new fully multi-coated lenses has the purpose of maximizing the rays of light passing through the lens, it therefore prevents flare and ghosting from the field of view. The pull-up eyecups provide comfortable eye-relief for longer viewing. Rubber housing is incorporated for a firm grip and extra protection. With 8X magnification and 25mm lens objectives, this model will provide a fine and compact companion on nature trips. It can reach a span of up to 108m field of view. UP 8x25 WP binoculars are made to have a waterproof JIS Class 6 rating which are fully sealed against fog and harsh weather and can be submerged in up to 3 feet of water.

New Fully-multi-coated optics

BaK4 prisms
Due to its outstanding refractive index, the BaK4 glass prism found in all PENTAX Sport Optics is highly acclaimed for its perfectly round exit pupil and clear, unvignetted image.

Aspherical lens elements
Edge-to-edge sharpness is a vital element to comfortable viewing. To achieve this, we utilise aspherical lens elements in our eyepieces. This is a specially shaped lens design that reduces aberration to a minimum.
