The Pentax KF DSLR is a high-performance camera that offers a range of advanced features for both stills and video shooting. Its 24.24MP APS-C CMOS Sensor delivers high-quality images with excellent detail and color accuracy. The camera can shoot Full HD video at 60 frames per second, producing smooth and high-quality footage. The camera features a wide ISO range of 100-102400, allowing for shooting in various lighting conditions. It also has a continuous shooting speed of up to 6 frames per second. SAFOX X 11-Point AF with 9 Cross Sensors autofocus system provides quick and accurate autofocus performance, even in low light conditions.
The camera has a versatile 3.0" 1.03m-Dot Vari-Angle LCD Monitor that can be adjusted to different angles, providing flexibility for composing shots from various perspectives. Ananti-aliasing filter simulator effectively reduces moiré and false color, providing clear and detailed images. A built-in shake reduction system minimizes camera shake, producing sharp images. The PENTAX KF offers outstanding imaging performance in a compact body. Featuring dustproof, weather-resistant construction and dependable cold-proof performance down to temperatures as low as 14°F, it’s optimized for all types of outdoor photography.
It incorporates a host of advanced functions and user-friendly features including a pentaprism-type optical viewfinder with a nearly 100% field of view and 0.95-times magnification and an in-body shake-reduction system with a 4.5-shutter-step compensation.
Built with the photographer in mind, the grip, control buttons on the back panel and mode dials are contoured to offer optimum comfort and operability. Effective Shake Reduction With All Lenses, Assuring Optimum Compensation Effects
The PENTAX KF features the PENTAX-original, in-body SR (Shake Reduction) mechanism with a compensation effect of 4.5 shutter steps.* It works effectively with all PENTAX interchangeable lenses – from wide-angle to telephoto models – and minimizes camera shake in shake-prone conditions, such as when shooting low-light scenes with ambient light only, using a telephoto lens, or photographing sunset scenes.
