The Pentax-HD-DA-15mm-Lens is a wide-angle lens with a focal length of 23mm with f4-f5.6 Rounded aperture. The lens optical design is superb which features Extra low-dispersion ED lens elements and an AL Aspherical element to minimize focal aberrations and distortions for a better and natural-looking image. An HD Coating is treated to the lens elements to minimize flares and ghosts, enhancing contrast and quality. A SP (Super Protect) Coating is also treated to the lens elements to protect the lens from dust, dirt and fingerprints. The HD-DA-15mm-Lens also features its seven-blade Round shaped diaphragm to produce an aesthetic bokeh effect and to help in shooting on a shallow depth. It also has a 49mm filter and a Quick-shift Focus System that  allows manual focus switching and control to the lens instantly while on auto focus mode, giving an accurate and precise supervision to the focal plane. With all the features, this lens will take you to a whole new level of photography. It is compatible only with APS-C DSLR Cameras.

All lenses are treated with HD coating,* a high-grade multi-layer lens coating that assures higher light transmittance and lower reflectance than conventional multi-layer coatings. As the result, they produce sharp, clear images free of flare and ghost images, even under such adverse lighting conditions as backlight.

Round-shaped diaphragm for beautiful out-of-focus rendition
All lenses feature a completely round-shaped diaphragm to optimize the performance of their distinctive optics. This diaphragm produces a natural, beautiful bokeh (out-of-focus) effect, while minimizing the streaking effect of point light sources.
