The new Pentax DA 35mm F2.4 AL is a standard lens that is capable of being used not only as a close up portrait lens. This includes snapshots, but it also provides other profits of the unifocal design, such as the capability to throw the background out of focus, and to replicate high-resolution images with edge-to-edge sharpness. The design is highly lightweight for improved comfort and portability. It features a focal length of 35mm, an aperture of f/2.4, and aspherical lens element that helps compensate for spherical aberration to maximize image quality. The lens is coated with Super Protect coating that protects it from dust, dirt and fingerprints for better image results. It is combined with a high-quality exterior finish with a PENTAX-original simplified weather-resistant aluminum construction. It is compatible only with APS-C DSLR Cameras.
