This drone is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording through its f/2.2 fish eye lens that sports a 14-megapixel camera sensor. Showing a variety of options via its impressive 180-degree angle of view, the Bebop can deliver up to 12 minutes of flight time on a full battery charge. Despite the natural elements that can disrupt the Bebop's steady flight, its three-axis stabilization ensures clear shots despite camera shake. Tracking the whereabouts of this quadcopter is made possible by its built-in GPS and Glonass while you can retrieve it easily using the Return Home feature. On the other hand, the Parrot SkyController Drone Remote Control Red is pre-installed with the FreeFlight 3 app. With the help from precise joystick controls, flexibility in moving your Bebop is also within reach thanks to the SkyController's four control options. Safe to fly
Its feather-weight ABS reinforced structure (400g) makes Parrot Bebop Drone robust and safe. In the event of any collision, the propellers stop automatically. The emergency mode allows the drone to land immediately. Thanks to a GPS system, a Return Home function brings the Bebop drone easily back to its take-off point. Finally, EPP hulls included in the pack makes indoor flights safer.

A Wi-Fi hotspot on its own
MIMO Wi-Fi connection: Parrot Bebop Drone embarks 2 dual-band Wi-Fi antennas that allows it to handle both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz MIMO frequencies. It generates its own Wi-Fi 802.11 network. Depending on the network interference, you can select the frequency of your choice.
Stable and able
To ensure an optimal stability without compromising the maneuverability, the Bebop Drone analyzes data from numerous sensors automatically: 3-axes accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, one ultrasound sensor with an 8 meters reach, one pressure sensor and a vertical camera to track the speed.
Keep an eye on the fisheye
Equiped with a 14 megapixel fisheye camera, the Parrot Bebop Drone records videos and pictures in a 180° field with remarkable image quality. A full-digital image stabilization technology allows the Bebop Drone to take remarkably stable and clear aerial footage regardless of the drone movements. Splash and dust proof lens. Action cameras often show horizontal lines distortion. In contrast, Parrot Bebop Drone camera delivers undistorted lines and as a result horizon is not curved anymore.
Built-in GPS with Flight Map control
Thanks to the integrated GPS, control your Bebop drone directly on the map: plan your flights on your smartphone and let your drone do the rest! Accurate GPS localisation: around 2 metres with the GNSS chip and tracking with the Glonass satellite. Save over 350 flights and watch them in 3D with the Parrot Cloud thanks to the altitude and speed data collected.
Control the angle of the camera directly from the piloting application with a simple movement of the thumb. The shifting on the 180 angle is fully digital and independant from the drone movements.
In flight with FreeFlight
The Parrot Bebop Drone comes with a free piloting application, Freeflight 3, for iOS and Android Smartphones and tablets. The user-friendly application has been developed to be very easy to use allowing the pilot to focus on the pleasure of flying. Once on the welcome screen, the pilot accesses the following functionalites: Piloting, photos/videos, Cloud "Pilot Academy"...
Complete user settings for altitude and speed, piloting mode (accelerometer, virtual joystick...). FreeFlight app also includes fun features such as one-touch Flip! FreeFlight 3 is also the piloting app for Parrot MiniDrones.
When “Return Home” is selected, the Bebop Drone returns directly to its starting position when the altitude is greater than 10 meters. If the altitude is less or equal to 10 meters, it will rise and stabilize itself at 10 meters before returning to its take-off position in a straight line. Once it has reached its take-off position, it will stop and hover 2 meters above the ground.

Be in command with the SkyController
Equipped with an amplified Wi-Fi 36 dBm radio and with four antennas, the Parrot Skycontroller extends the Wi-Fi! The piloting smartphone or tablet is fixed on a shelf that is compatible with the vast majority of smartphones & tablets available on the market. The pilot takes control of the drone via two ultra precise joysticks. For extreme view (anything but sensations), it is possible to connect FPV (First Person View) glasses to the Parrot Skycontroller with the HDMI. Find joy in using the joysticks
Take control of the drone via two ultra-precise joysticks. The top right stick lets you control the angle the camera in a 180° field while the top left stick enables you to navigate the app in FPV mode.
Skycontroller benefits from a doubled WiFi connection. Optimized for a perfect connection and latency reduction, Skycontroller is safer and adapted for long distance flights. You enjoy a robust Wi-Fi link specially designed for Bebop, hence long distance as well as a short distance Wi-Fi connection that maximizes interoperability with tablet or smartphone. Thus, Bebop Drone's range is extended to 2 km as a result!
Four control options
First off, you can navigate the Bebop drone with the SkyController only to take advantage of its long range Wi-Fi. Second, you can patch up a tablet or smartphone to have a first-hand view of the drone's flight despite a shorter Wi-Fi range. Third, you can also connect a First-Person View glass like the Sony FPV or the Zeiss Cinemizer onto the SkyController's HDMI port to gain video streaming with vital information such as battery level, distance, horizon management, cape, and altitude to name a few. Finally, you can use the SkyController, an FPV glass, and a mobile device all together that allows you to live stream your FPV flight.
Skycontroller is an Android-powered device and FreeFlight 3 app is installed by default. Parrot software will be open-source enabling developers to extend functionalities of the Skycontroller. Plug any USB device to enhance piloting possibilities. You can plug different kind of Wi-Fi antennas for instance and personalize your flying experience! All smartphones and tablets running FreeFlight 3 app are compatible with Skycontroller. 4:3 Tablets up to 10.6 inches and up to 20 cm height for 16:9 ones can be plugged thanks to the adjustable dock.
