The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-35mm F2.8 ASPH PWR OIS Lens is a super fast 24-70mm equivalent wide-angle zoom lens for Micro Four Thirds cameras. The Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-35mm F2.8 ASPH PWR OIS Lens is designed specifically for mirrorless cameras, and provides an extremely bright f/2.8 maximum aperture with consistent performance throughout the zoom range. The optical construction of 14 elements in 9 groups includes four aspherical lenses, one UED lens, and one UHR lens, which helps to minimize chromatic aberrations throughout the zoom range and produce sharp, clear imagery with reduced distortion and color fringing.

The POWER Optical Image Stabilizer system is comprised of five components that work in concert to provide up to 4 stops of stabilization correction for camera shake when shooting handheld in low light or at slow shutter speeds. A linear motor ensures quick, accurate autofocus performance while also minimizing noise during AF operation. The lens also features a rounded 7-blade diaphragm for pleasing out of focus highlights when utilizing shallow depth of field techniques.
