The Panasonic Leica DG Summilux 9mm f/1.7 is a Micro Four Thirds System lens with a 9mm fixed focal length and an 18mm (35mm equivalent) aperture range of f/1.7-f/16. It features two aspherical elements, two ED elements which help to reduce glare and chromatic aberration for clearer images, one UHR element that helps to reduce ghosting and flaring when shooting against bright lights or in backlit situations. and rounded 7-blade diaphragm for beautiful bokeh. The splashes, dust and freeze-resistant construction makes it perfect for macro, landscapes, astrophotography and vlogging.

The f/1.7 to f/16 aperture range provides excellent low light performance and lets you shoot with dramatic shallow depth of field effects. The 0.5x maximum magnification gives you the ability to capture extremely close-up shots of your subjects.
