Olympus PT-EP08 Underwater Housing for OM-D E-M5 Camera

Made of high-quality black polycarbonate, the Olympus PT-EP08 Underwater Housing for the OM-D E-M5 Digital Camera allows the entire set-up to be waterproof for up to 45 metres of water pressure. To add flair to your images, you may use the screw mount for additional lenses and filters to attain various effects. Camera flashes, brackets, and handle trays can also be attached through the cold shoe and tripod mounts. Speaking of flash, the case has a built-in flash for better image lighting. In contrast, you can shield away bright light for better screen visibility by using the removable LCD hood. To detect the possibility of a leak, this case also comes with a transparent back plate that monitors water ingress. As this underwater case gives mechanical access to the camera's controls, it also comes with a fiber optic cable adapter for wired connections. The deal with polycarbonate
A naturally transparent element, polycarbonate can transmit light as good as glass. Aside from being durable and heat resistant, this material is known for its superb color stability. These elements help add to the vibrance and the quality of each picture that you take.

Compatible lens ports
The PPO-EP01 lens port accepts the following M.Zuiko Digital lenses: ED 9-18mm f/4-5.6, ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6II and IIR, ED 45mm f/1.8, ED 75mm f/1.8, ED 60mm f/2.8 Macro, and the ED 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ. On the other hand, the PPO-E04 lens port is for the Zuiko Digital ED 8mm f/3.5 fisheye. Meanwhile, the PPO-E03 and the PPO-E04 is suitable for the ED 50mm f/2 Macro and the 35mm f/3.5 Macro lenses respectively. The PPO-E04 and the PPO-E03 is used with the PAD-EP08 Port Adapter and the PER-E01 Port Extension Ring. You may also use the PPZR-EP01 zoom gear with the 14-42mm lens. For its II and IIR versions, there's the PPZR-EP02 zoom gear.

Don't screw up with this mount
There are limitless combinations that you can attach to the built-in screw mount. You can select from a number of compatible filters that you use to add vibrance and colour to every image. You can combine these with the PTMC-01 Underwater Macro Conversion Lens or the PTWC-01 Underwater Wide Conversion Lens.

Flash details on the flash
Aside from it giving additional brightness, the case's built-in flash can also be used as a wireless slave to trigger either the UFL-1 or UFL-2 underwater flash for better lighting. Wired connections are also made possible by the PTCB-E02 Fiber Optic Cable.

Neutral buoyancy
The PT-EP08 has neutral buoyancy for easier handling and balancing of the entire set-up underwater, especially with increased water pressure.
