While the Tough TG-820 alone lives up to its name as a tough digital camera, it is made tougher by the Olympus PT-052 Underwater Housing. Made of high-quality black polycarbonate, this case allows the said camera to be waterproof for up to 45 metres of water pressure. Meanwhile, the built-in lens port can be used with the screw mount for additional lenses and filters in order to attain various photographic effects. Camera flashes, brackets, and handle trays can also be attached through the cold shoe and tripod mounts. Speaking of flash, the case has a built-in flash for better image lighting. In contrast, you can shield away bright light for better screen visibility by using the removable LCD hood. As this underwater case gives mechanical access to the camera's controls, it also comes with a fiber optic cable adapter for wired connections.
