Effectively diffuses light from camera flash, the Olympus FD-1 mounts in front of the camera and best for close-up and macro photography. It features light intensity adjustment lever with high and low settings. Light is projected outside the lens through a ring while being diffused by the FD-1 at range of 0.8-11.8" illumination distance. The diffuser is made for use with TG-5 camera and also compatible with TG-1, TG-2, and TG-3.

The FD-1 efficiently diffuses the light from the camera's built-in flash for even lighting during macro photography, perfect for capturing moving subjects up close and for shooting underwater macro. Improved light distribution darkens the background to make subjects stand out.

Light intensity adjustment lever
The FD-1 features a light intensity adjustment lever that allows users to select either high or low output (a 1.4 step increment) to accommodate a variety of subjects. Illumination distance: 2 to 30 cm. The FD-1 may also be used underwater.

Compatibility
Compatible with the TOUGH TG-4. TG-4 firmware Version 2.0 supports the FD-1. Although FD-1 may be attached to TG-1/2/3, some features are not fully supported.
