Product Features in Detail
Highly Compact and Lightweight
This new model has an incredibly compact system that is one full size smaller compared to full-frame interchangeable lens cameras. All the while offering high resolution, rich tonal expressions, and superb image quality. It is splashproof, dustproof, and freezeproof up to -10°C. This means users can still shoot even in the most challenging environments.
AF Performance that can Compete with High-End Models
The new E-M5 Mark III boasts of a high-performance On-chip Phase Detection AF. This means its AF performance can easily compete with other high-end models. It has an improved tracking performance and AF precision for shooting moving subjects with ease. It also has other convenient functions like the C-AF Centre Priority and Centre Start.
Compact Image Stabilization
The camera's new 5-axis IS unit has been optimised for a more lightweight and compact body that can deliver compensation effects greater than the E-M5 Mark II. The 5-axis sync IS feature combined with the in-lens IS guarantees the most powerful image stabilisation.
Outstanding OLED Viewfinder
This high-performance Viewfinder lets users concentrate on shooting by minimising distortion to the edges of the image. Its long eyepoint gives excellent visibility even when users are wearing glasses.
Versatile Shooting Features
Loads of Olympus shooting features are packed into this interchangeable lens camera. There's the Live Composite, Live Bulb as well as Live Time for easy, long exposures. Pro Capture will also come in handy when recording decisive moments.
OM-D Movie
The Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III has a powerful image stabilisation capable of shooting both stills and videos. Its stable 4K video that puts shaking to a minimum allows ease during handheld shooting.
Excellent Basic Features
The E-M5 Mark III's high-speed mechanical shutter is capable of up to 1/8000 second, paired with its traditional Olympus high-performance dust reduction system, are just some of the basic features that make this camera superior. There are also plenty of accessories to choose from to expand your shooting possibilities.
