Designed to be with versatile f/4 to f/36 Aperture Range and f/4 to f/36 Aperture Range, the Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 Lens covers wide-angle to normal focal lengths. Having a sleek design, it is practical to be used in all travel shots and many other shooting adventures. This standard zoom lens is designed for Z-Mount Lens/FX Format mirrorless cameras and can also be used with DX models providing 36-75mm equivalent focal length range. Super Integrated Coating minimizes flare and ghosting that improves contrast and color fidelity when working in various lighting conditions. Three aspherical elements are present to reduce spherical aberrations and distortion in order to obtain sharp imagery with accurate rendering plus two extra-low dispersion elements which reduces color fringing and chromatic aberrations to produce clarity and precise color rendering. It also features dust and moisture-resistant lens barrel which benefits the lens' use in any harsh weathers and conditions.

When not in use, the NIKKOR Z 24-50mm f/4-6.3 retracts into itself and is just 51mm long. It's wonderfully balanced on Z series cameras and is also extensively weather sealed against dust and moisture, making it ideal as a walk around, do-anything lens.

ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) Glass
An optical glass developed by Nikon that is used with normal optical glass in telephoto lenses to obtain optimum correction of chromatic aberrations.

Aspherical Lens
A lens with a curved, non-spherical surface. Used to reduce aberrations and enable a more compact lens size. Aspherical lenses minimize coma and other types of lens aberrations, even when used at the widest aperture. They are particularly useful in correcting distortion in wide-angle lenses and help contribute to a lighter, more compact design by reducing the number of standard (spherical) elements necessary. Aspherical lens elements correct these distortions by continuously changing the refractive index from the center of the lens.

Electromagnetic Diaphragm Mechanism
An electromagnetic diaphragm mechanism in the lens barrel provides highly accurate electronic diaphragm or aperture blade control when using auto exposure during continuous shooting. With conventional D/G type lenses, the diaphragm blades are operated by mechanical linkage levers.

IF Lens
A NIKKOR lens in which only the internal lens group shifts during focusing. Thus, IF NIKKORS do not change in size during AF operation, allowing for compact, lightweight lenses capable of closer focusing distances. These lenses will be designated with the abbreviation IF on the lens barrel.

Super Integrated Coating
