Product Features in Detail

Motion Snapshot Mode
This lens mount enables you to capture frames as a still image and a one-second vignette. The camera then expands the vignettes to create a 2.5-second slow motion movie that is combined with the still images. You can also add a musical score with any of the tunes available in the camera.

Improved crop factor
When an F Mount Lens is attached to this mount, it provides a crop factor of 2.7x. This gives you an angle of view that is equivalent to a super telephoto lens even if you are just using a telephoto lens.

Speed is the name of the game
This lens mount allows the F mount lens to use Nikon 1's continuous shooting speeds of 10, 30, and 60 frames per second.

Compatibility
This lens mount can be used for all Nikkor F mount lenses except for IX-Nikkor, F3AF, and non-AI lenses. It is also non-compatible with auto extension rings and teleconverters. It also cannot be used with the AI Nikkor 20mm f/2.8, AI Nikkor 24mm f/2.8, and the PC-E NIKKOR 24mm f/3.5D ED.
