Though the Nikon D3400 DSLR Camera is an entry-level camera, it's not to be snobbed. With a powerhouse of a 24.2 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor and an EXPEED 4 Image Processor, you can capture stunning images all the time. You may also take advantage of its pentamirror viewfinder to look for the best-possible angles. Aided by a 100-25,600 ISO range, low light settings are no hindrance especially if you activate the built-in flash. Combine that with a 1/4000 seconds top shutter speed and continuous shooting at 5 fps to eliminate image blur. Likewise, the D3400 is capable of full HD 1080p video recording to save those moments in crisp quality. Adjustments in the camera settings and reviewing shots are done through the three-inch, 921K-dot TFT LCD monitor. The same monitor provides a 170° viewing angle to clearly show every angle on frame. Sharing your media files is also easy thanks to this Nikon DSLR camera's SnapBridge technology as well as its HDMI and USB ports. The Nikon D3400 DSLR Camera also makes Bluetooth connection possible while lenses are attached to the Nikon F bayonet lens mount.

Product Features in Detail

Nikon SnapBridge
SnapBridge makes it possible automatically transfer images taken with the D3400 to a compatible smartphone or tablet thanks to the cloud storage site NIKON IMAGE SPACE. This makes file back-ups and photo sharing easier. With a one-time setup, you can connect up to five devices to easily back-up files via Image space. Likewise, Bluetooth Low Energy allows automatic transfers of two-megapixel images from camera to connected devices.

Get all the light that you need
Aside from its built-in flash, the Nikon D3400 comes with a hot shoe that can be used for external Nikon Speedlight flashes. Meanwhile, you can preserve highlights and shadows with the camera's Active D-Lighting.

Great for budding photographers
The Compact and lightweight D3400 is designed for easy usage. The camera's controls buttons can be easily accessed to make it comfortable for novice DSLR users. Meanwhile, the viewfinder gives a unobstructed and sharp view of the frame. Precise handling of the camera is also made possible via the comfortable grip.

Guide Mode and Automatic Mode
In automatic mode, you can capture great photos with less amount of effort. But if you wish to learn more about the D3400's controls while testing them yourself, you can activate the Guide Mode.

In focus with Auto Focus
The D3400's Auto Focus system quickly acquires a subject through 11 AF points and provides accurate focus within its -1 to +19 EV range. Thus, you can capture amazing details by taking advantage of its continuous shooting of up to 5 fps or its 25,600 maximum ISO.

Expand your creativity
Nikon's six exciting Picture Control options (Vivid, Standard, Portrait, Neutral, Monochrome, and Landscape) make it easy to optimize the camera's function with the scene you are capturing. These settings help enhance the colours and tones of each image. Customized settings can also be programmed for easier operation.

Special Effects
Let your images shine by using any of the following built-in Special Effects: High Key, Low Key, Miniature Effect, Night Vision, Photo Illustration, Pop, Selective Color, Silhouette, and Super Vivid.

In-Camera Image Editing
Without the necessary software, you can make quick adjustments to every image to immediately enhance quality. The editing options available are the following: Trim, Color Outline, Straighten, Color Sketch, Selective Color, D-Lighting, Resize, Distortion Control, Red-Eye Correction, Filter Effects, Quick Retouch, Fisheye, Photo Illustration, Image Overlay, Perspective Control, Miniature Effect, Painting, Monochrome, and RAW Processing.
