The Nikon CoolShot 40i Laser Range Finder incorporates ID Technology on its Golf Mode to calculate slope-adjusted distance which is perfect for golf courses with uphill and downhill slopes. This additional information will help you adjust the power of your swing to work around these conditions on the golf course.
Likewise, it measures the actual distances on a golf course due to Nikon's Hyper Read. This data-processing algorithm calculates the distance from where you are to the pin either in yards or in metres. It helps you adjust your game for the better because it shows measurements as quickly as 0.5 seconds.
The CoolShot 40i also has a First Target Priority mode that reveals the distance to the flagstick on a green and not the woods beyond. That information is highly important during approach shots. This compact and easy to operate laser range finder has a comfortable grip for easier handling, as well as rainproof sealing to deal with sudden showers.
Product Features in Detail
First Target Priority and 8-Second Measurement
First Target Priority displays the range to the nearest target among the multiple results obtained. This assures that the measurement shown is the pin and not any objects in the background. For 8-second continuous measurement, press and hold down the Power button to activate the continuous measurement function. The rangefinder will continuously measure the range for approximately eight seconds.
This is useful when trying to find measurements of multiple or very small or thin objects, allowing you to know the distance to hazards, pins, mounds, and trees in one push and hold of the button. With this feature, you have the ability to scan across the green to easily pick out a flagstick from the background.
Distant Target Priority
The Distant Target Priority mode displays that of the farthest subject which is often useful in wooded areas
Featuring renowned Nikon glass & multicoating technology, for clear, high contrast views, COOLSHOT 40's 6-power monocular has eyeglass-friendly long eye relief and an adjustable diopter for tack-sharp focusing. It's also easier to take a peek because of its long eye relief design.
