Nikon AF-S Nikkor 300mm f2.8G IF ED VR II Lens

The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 300mm f/2.8G ED VR II telephoto lens is equipped with the latest vibration reduction technology (VR II), which reduces the effects of camera shake equivalent to a shutter speed increase of approximately 4 stops. Nano Crystal Coat effectively diminishes ghosting and flare for clear images while the Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures smooth and quiet autofocus operation. The addition of A/M mode (autofocus with manual override; AF priority) focus mode prevents accidental switching from autofocus to manual focus. Along with M/A (autofocus with manual override; manual priority) mode, which enables manual focusing by rotating the focus ring while autofocus is operating and M (manual) mode, this makes for a total of three focus modes. With an aperture of f/2.8 and focal length of 300mm, focusing to a dim lit location is made possible without making the images dark and blurry. The lens also features Internal Focusing (IF) design for smoother focusing and three extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass elements that virtually eliminate chromatic aberration. It is compatible with APS-C and Full Frame Sensor DSLR Cameras.
