- May 19, 2007We have completed our site upgrade this morning with the final switch to the new navigation system. We appreciate that this may cause some confusion if you're familiar with the site, and have tried to add measures to reduce this. We apologise for any inconvenience caused during this transition, and appreciate your patience.

- May 18, 2007Overnight we've completed a site upgrade that we hope will improve your access to products and get you to the information you want faster. You can now view all the variations on a product (colours, lens kits, etc) on a single page and add these to the basket from there. The contents of your basket will also be visible on every page once you've added something to it.
We're continuing to develop new features to make Camera-Warehouse the easiest of sites to use, with the latest information.
Any suggestions as to how we might improve the site are always greatly appreciated. You can email us, or share your comments in the box below (subject to editorial approval).

This extract is taken from an article located on Nikon's own website and explains the various abbreviations used on their lenses:
ED: Extra-Low Dispersion glass
High-quality glass that corrects for chromatic aberration, a type of image and color distortion that occurs when light rays of varying wavelengths pass through optical glass and don't converge or focus at the same point. Nikkor lenses with ED glass deliver superior sharpness and contrast, even at maximum aperture. Super ED glass is a new type that is used together with ED glass in some lenses to achieve an even higher degree of freedom from chromatic aberration.D: Distance
D-type AF-Nikkor lenses relay subject-to-camera distance information to Nikon SLR cameras that feature 3D Color Matrix Metering, 3D Matrix Metering, and 3D Multi-Sensor Balanced Fill-Flash.G: The lens has no aperture control ring and is designed to be used with cameras that allow setting the aperture from the camera body. G lenses also provide Distance information
