Engineered and built to exacting standards for the discerning creator, the Master SP528 Specialist tripod provides robust and dependable support for your precious gear.

With its advanced features, the Specialist SP528 gives you the flexibility to frame unique shots and realize your vision. This tripod has a load capacity of over 24 lbs but weighs under 6 lbs and folds down to a compact 23 3/4”.

Innovative PROLocks allow you to quickly open and securely position the tripod’s legs, from a minimum working height of just 7 1/4” to a maximum of 80 5/8” and anywhere in between. Red-colored touch points are easy to see and operate even in low light. Threaded connection ports work with a variety of accessories, and Master's Arca-compatible Dovetail quick release system provides a fast and secure way of attaching your camera. 

The included SPH45P ball head is machined from high-grade aluminum and features panning adjustments on both the base and top; use the lower panning base for initial framing, followed by the upper pan to rotate your camera without impacting its other positioning. A Memory Lock dial allows you set the amount of ball head tension to best suit your preferences and the weight of your rig. 

Tripod
PROlock leg locks are powerful yet easy to operate, even while wearing gloves.
Tripod feet are made of heavy-duty rubber and twist to expose retractable spikes.
The reversible center column can be separated into two parts for ultra-low-angle photography.
A strong yoke helps avoid unwanted movement, and a bubble level is incorporated to help ensure a level setup. 
Two 3/8" threaded accessory ports are available at the yoke. Master flex arms (sold separately) make a perfect companion, providing an extra set of hands for flashes, LED lights, etc.
All touch points on the tripod are colored red for easy identification.

SP heads can pan from the base or from the top platform and have engraved degree markings. Use the lower panning base for initial framing, followed by the upper pan adjustment to rotate the camera without affecting its other positioning.
A large tension control knob is easy to use, even with gloves.
Inside the tension control knob is a secondary knob called a Memory Lock. It sets a repeatable tension when moving the camera on the ball head.
Two Memory Lock knobs are included with the ball head. Choose the protruding Memory Lock knob for ease of adjustment, or switch it for the low-profile Memory Lock knob to avoid any accidental changes.
