Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 Aluminium Fluid Video Monopod with Tilt Head

Serving as a replacement for the MVM500A, the Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 Aluminium Fluid Video Monopod with Tilt Head features a FluidTech Base for smooth movements while panning. It also has four, D-shaped leg sections that increases the monopod's stability. Meanwhile, the rubber leg warmer strengthens the base while the quick power locks secure every section of the monopod according to the user's preference. Likewise, the Counter Balance System to carry heavier photographic cameras and equipment. Additional attachments can be done through the 3/8" and 1/4" screws while slipping is prevented by using the hand strap. The Manfrotto MVMXPRO500 Aluminium Fluid Video Monopod has a minimum length of 78 cm and a maximum length of 203 cm.

FluidTech Technology
This innovative solution features 3D fluid movement – on pan, tilt and swivel, with pioneering technology based on a spherical system located inside the base. When the priority is panning, 3D rotation can be locked in the vertical position, leaving pan movement free and giving additional shooting control.

XPRO Fluid Head
The XPRO fluid head is a lightweight video head featuring a fluidity selector that makes it possible to switch between hard and soft fluidity according to the preferred speed of tilt movement and to the kind of gear used. Its Adapto Technopolymer and Aluminium body make the XPRO fluid head extremely easy to carry: weighing a mere 0.7 kg and supporting up to 4 kg of payload. The head comes with the Manfrotto 200PL plate, the most widespread photographic plate, which guarantees a quick setup and a quick switch from photo to video.

Counter Balance System
The MVMXPRO500 exploits the MVH500AH’s powerful counterbalance system for managing heavier equipment such as interchangeable lens cameras, with a wider platform to support HDSLR bodies. It is extra-lightweight and compact, so you won’t even notice it’s in your kit bag, but you can always rely on it to carry up to an impressive 5kgs, blending strength with portability

Stable set-up
The new D-shaped aluminium tubes greatly improve anti-rotation resistance throughout the monopod, following the videographer’s rapid rotation movements. Combined with the Quick Power Lock (QPL) which strongly locks the lever onto the monopod tube’s flat side, this eliminates unwanted jerky movements.
