Graduated soft-edge filter
When pictures are taken in broad daylight, the sky is often over-exposed and the glare can spill over to the ground elements. To correct this, graduated filters come to the rescue by balancing the distribution of light to avoid underexposed sections. By doing so, it also complements tones and enhances image detail. This holder attaches to an adapter ring that is compatible with the lens in use. Once the locking screws are planted to the adapter ring, you can then place this lens filter in any of the two available slots and slide it up or down to preference. The Lee and Serk 100mm Filter Holders can also be tilted or rotated to make the shade follow the natural distribution of light without disrupting the camera set-up.
